Plotbot Basic

Plotbot Basic laser engraver is a good entry-level compact laser engraving machine. It is capable of engraving designs in wood and plastic. With just 3000mW of laser power, there isn’t much power behind this machine, but it’s still capable of engraving designs in a variety of materials. The frame of this laser engraving machine is comprised of precisely machined aluminium components and aluminium bend parts.  Although the Plotbot Basic is definitely on the cheaper side of the market, it still offers some pretty impressive features. For example, highly smooth linear shafts, high-quality bearings and also a cool looking black glass covered bed. As it also has an open platform as its bed, even bigger workpieces can also be engraved with little more effort. There are downfalls to this laser engraver, such as the inability to engrave in metal and acrylic materials, but at this price point, it’s a great entry-level laser engraver.
